Born in New York and Raised in Ohio, Anna Kendrick moved to Bluffton in 2006. After spending 8 years in corporate manufacturing, she changed her career path to align with her family needs.
In 2010, She graduated summa cum laude with a Cosmetology degree from the Technical College of the Lowcountry.
Anna Kendrick has been a celebrated hair stylist in Bluffton for 14 years. She is a 5 time Best of Bluffton winner in years 2012, 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2018. She was also voted as Sun Today Select - Best Stylist in 2018.
In 2021, she stepped away from the behind the chair, solely to a management role within The Parlour.
Anna resides in Bluffton with her husband Mark and two daughters Ava and Abigail.

Stacy was born in Fort Sill, OK and raised in a military family with her sister, Mary. Stacy claimed Northern Virginia her home state in her freshman year of High School. Stacy met her now husband, Shane, and have six children and four grandchildren together.
Stacy grew up in a hair salon and eventually decided to get her Cosmetology license. Hair was her passion from as far back as she can remember and now it has come full circle to work in the environment she has always loved.
Stacy and Shane fell in love with Bluffton and made it their forever home with their two mini Aussies, Henry and Cork, and her 50 pound tortoise, Herby.

Maryann was born and raised in Michigan. Maryann has lived and worked in cities throughout the US and England. After spending the last 14 years of her life in the financial services industry as the Executive Assistant to a bank CEO, she and her husband, Tom, retired from their careers and relocated from Allen, Texas to Hilton Head.
Maryann, Tom, and their cat, Ronnie, are loving the Lowcountry area and they are happy to call Bluffton their home for the last five years.
Maryann enjoys cooking, bicycling, exercising, and traveling back to Texas to spend time with her son, Ken, and her four-year-old grandson, Beckham.

Outside of the salon, Josselyn enjoys watching movies and reading books.
Vanessa Thompson

Award-winning stylist and former salon owner, Vanessa Thompson brings 25 years of experience to The Parlour team. Vanessa relocated to the Lowcountry from New York 22 years ago and found her passion mentoring others in her award-winning salon. Vanessa specializes in color corrections, blonding services & weddings. Her product lines include Keune Color, Moroccan Oil & Brazilian Blowout products.
Her long list of achievements includes Best of Bluffton Hair Stylist / Hair Salon WINNER for 5 consecutive years, 2007-2011! She is also Brazilian Blowout Certified.
Vanessa serves her community by donating “back to school” haircuts through Lowcountry Community Church. Away from the salon, Vanessa is a very busy wife and mother. She can be found enjoying life with her husband Ryan, daughter Harper, son Ryan Jr. & Fur child Bentley.
Madison Swaby

2021 Best of Bluffton Stylist, 2018 May River High alumni & and a 2019 graduate of The Paul Mitchell School in Charleston, Madison Swaby brings a fresh vibe to the The Parlour.
Madison is professionally trained in Redken and Paul Mitchell color. Madison is considered the in-house balayage and hand painted application specialist as well as all blonding applications. In addition to color services, Madison is an expert in the MK Majestic Smoothing Service.
In Madison’s free time, you can find her cuddling her kitty, Maka. She enjoys all aspects of art, which is why she is considered an expert in color here at The Parlour.

Bluffton native and Technical College of the Lowcountry graduate, Jennifer Dougherty serves The Parlour as a Redken Color Specialist. In addition to color and highlighting techniques, her passion is blonding and toning applications, including the highly sought after “Platinum Card” service, as well as specializing in color correction. Jennifer is certified in the MK Majestic and Keratin Complex KC MAXX smoothing treatments.
In her free time, Jennifer is a busy mother to two children Johnny & Eva and husband, John. The family resides in their hometown of Bluffton.

A graduate from The Contemporary School of Beauty in Syracuse, New York, Marybeth brings 32 years of cosmetology experience to The Parlour. She serves her clients using the Goldwell color line. In addition to color services including highlights, Marybeth offers perms and chemical straightening services. In her spare time, MB enjoys gardening and working out in a variety of fitness locations.
Marybeth gives back to her community through the Palmetto Animal League and donating to cancer awareness.
Marybeth resides in Bluffton with her Husband, Randy and dog Sydney.

In her time away from the salon, Jaime is a busy wife to Tom & mother of 3 amazing children, Adam, Jocelyn, Adrien & daughter in law Johanna. She serves her community at Lowcountry Community Church via worship arts & LCC student ministries.

Away from The Parlour, Elizabeth and her husband, Austin are busy parents to a son, Emmett. She is also a mom to two dogs at home.

Born and raised in Ohio. Brittany is a graduate of The Brown Aveda Institute in 2008. Brittany also has 300 hours of advanced education in hair, skin, and managing a salon. Brittany specializes in precision cuts, blonding services, and reds. In addition, Brittany is also certified in Masters of Balayage and Platinum Seamless Hand-Tied Extensions.
Brittanys husband, Seth, joining the military and took time to raise a family and travel with their three kids, Brayden, Seriyah, and Camila. Brittanys family vacationed in Bluffton and chose to settle down for the laidback coastal town with warm weather.
In Brittanys free time, she enjoys going to the the beach and adventuring with her family and three dogs, Comet, Charlie & Edith.

Kerri was born and raised in Maryland. While pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree at WVU, she obtained a part time front desk position at a salon. This began her journey and passion in the business. After graduating college, she went on to cosmetology school, graduating in 2009.
With 14 years of experience, Kerri specializes in precision cutting, short cuts, and mens cuts. In addition, with knowledge in Redken, Moroccan Oil, Keritan and Majestic Smoothing, Kerri also specializes in color, highlighting, and smoothing treatments.
Kerri made the move to Bluffton in December of 2022 along with her husband, Rob, their two daughters, Ayla and Ellis, as well as their dog, Ace!

Joanne brings 32 years of cosmetology experience to The Parlour. Born and raised in New York, Joanne has called South Carolina home for 21 years. Joanne specializes in foil highlighthing tecniques, all grey coverage processes, master barber cutting techniques & hair loss control. She is also considered the resident perm expert here at The Parlour. Additionally, she is certified in the Keratin Complex Smoothing treatments.
Away from work, Joanne enjoys baking, gardening, beach visits and spending time with her sisters in New York. She is the proud parent of two adult children (Alaina, a NICU nurse and Jack, a concrete specialist with the family business, Island Concrete). Joanne resides in Bluffton with her husband, Mike.

Karey was born and raised in Milledgeville, Georgia with her parents and two sisters. In 2008, Karey joined the Marine Corps which brought her to Beaufort. Once Karey completed her enlistment in 2013, Karey pursued her love for hair and beauty. After completing her Cosmetology hours at The Technical College of the Lowcountry, Karey joined us as a stylist in 2023. Specializing in color, blondes, mens and womens cuts, and perms.

Holly was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia with her mom, dad, and sister, Kelsey. After living in Virginia for 22 years, Holly and her fiancé, Alex, moved to Bluffton in 2020 and they are loving the Lowcountry life!
Holly graduated from The Technical College of the Lowcountry in Cosmetology in 2023 and specializes in blondes, lived in color, and long haircuts. Along with being a stylist, you can find Holly capturing and posting all of our stylists fun moments and hard work on our social media.
While Holly isnt at the salon, Holly enjoys spending time with family and her two pups, Norman and Guardian.

Kim soon found that all things hair and beauty was her passion and decided to attend Technical College of the Lowcountry Cosmetology’s program in 2023. Kim is looking forward to expanding her knowledge in blondes, brondes, and cuts while being an associate here at The Parlour.

The Parlour offers an Associate Program for students who are either currently in Cosmetology school or have graduated a Cosmetology program. This gives our students the opportunity to shadow and work with our master stylists to perfect The Parlours Extraordinary services.

Jocelyn graduated Cosmetology from Savannah Georgia Tech in 2024. Jocelyn is looking forward to expanding her knowledge in lived in color and extensions during her time as an associate and is eager to be behind the chair and get to know all of her guests!

Lis was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and moved to the US in 2000 with her family. Lis now lives in Bluffton, SC with her daughter and her dog, Chiqui.
Lis has always had a passion for hair and decided to go to Cosemtology school once she took more of an interest in textured curly hair. Lis attended Empire Beauty School in Savannah and graduated in 2023. While being an associate at The Parlour, Lis is looking forward to learning color, highlights, and precision cutting.
